Dunja Vidak Peranović
Born in Osijek in 1986, Dunja Vidak Peranović is a certified court interpreter for the English language and a project manager in the telecommunications industry. Her passion for languages developed during her high school education when she obtained the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), C1 level.
She graduated in 2014 from the Faculty of Philosophy, majoring in English language and translation, earning the title of Master of English Language and Pedagogy. Additionally, she enhanced her skills through a specialized program for proofreading and editing at the Faculty Philosophy in Osijek.
Work Experience
English language and translation are integral parts of her daily life, and her translation experience is diverse. As a project manager, she is involved in translating and creating project documentation in English for various types of projects. In addition to written work, she is dedicated to international projects, using English daily in spoken communication while collaborating with colleagues worldwide. Dunja has also gained practical experience by translating movies, TV series, and documentaries.
Contribution to the Community
Dunja shares her professional knowledge and experience with colleagues in the Association of Court Interpreters and Translators (DSTiP), supporting mutual assistance in performing the duties of court interpreting and translation. She also participates in conferences as a lecturer on project management topics, in both English and Croatian. Dunja's involvement is not just professional; it reflects her desire to strengthen connections within the field.
